Kim Hieora, known for her role in the Netflix series The Glory, where she played one of the protagonist’s tormentors, has officially addressed past allegations of school bullying.

On April 16th, Gram Entertainment released a statement clarifying the accusation. “The actress took time to meet with the parties regarding the claims brought up against her last year to sort through old memories and reach an understanding. It was agreed that they would support each other’s lives moving forward,” the agency conveyed.

The statement continued, “Throughout this ordeal, Kim Hieora has taken the time to reflect deeply and consider what it means to be a responsible member of society. She is committed to sincerely rebuilding her life and repaying the love she has received from the public.”

Following her role in The Glory as Lee Sara, the troubled drug addict artist, Kim Hieora quickly became a household name. Yet, her rise was soon shadowed by accusations that mirrored her on-screen character’s malevolence. Allegations surfaced claiming she was a member of Bigsangji, a notorious school gang engaged in extortion and verbal and physical abuse. In response, Gram Entertainment clarified, “She did join a group of friends but was never actively involved in any bullying or school violence.”

The situation only escalated when recordings of conversations intended to clear up misunderstandings with accusers were leaked, causing further confusion and prompting legal actions from her agency to ascertain the truth.
