Lee Jae Wook and aespa’s Karina have decided to part ways.
On April 2nd, Lee Jae Wook’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, confirmed to The Fact, “Lee Jae Wook has decided to break up to focus on his current filming project. The two have decided to remain supportive colleagues of each other.”
A representative added, “They plan to greet everyone with good activities in their respective positions in the future. We ask for your warm interest and support.”
The couple’s budding romance came to light at the end of February, following their connection at a luxury fashion show in January, which reportedly evolved into a romantic relationship. Subsequently, both agencies stated, “The two are currently getting to know each other,” and asked for respect for their privacy, urging a warm and respectful perspective.
However, Lee Jae Wook and Karina faced numerous malicious comments simply for being in a relationship. Ultimately, just five weeks after going public, the couple chose to end their relationship.
