Wonderful World (3/1)

Cha Eun Woo teams up with veteran actress Kim Nam Joo in a mystery drama. MBC’s Wonderful World tells the story of a woman (played by Kim Nam Joo) who takes the law into her own hands and kills the man who murdered her son. She then sets out to uncover the truth about what happened that day. Cha Eun Woo plays a mysterious young man who suddenly enters the woman’s life. He is expected to show a rebellious side, having chosen a rough life despite growing up in a wealthy family. It remains to be seen how his new attempt will be received in the small screen. Wonderful World will premiere on March 1st and will be available to stream on Disney Plus.

Queen of Tears  (3/9)

Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won will team up as a married couple in tvN’s highly anticipated drama, Queen of Tears. This captivating story explores the challenges and unexpected joys faced by a powerful chaebol heiress (Kim Ji Won) and her ordinary husband (Kim Soo Hyun) after their marriage. Fans are already buzzing about the potential chemistry between these two romance genre veterans, known for their captivating performances. Adding to the excitement, the series comes from the mastermind behind Crash Landing on You screenwriter Park Ji Eun. The drama will be available on Netflix.

Missing Crown Prince (3/9)

Suho, who won the hearts of viewers with his role as the mysterious young man in last year’s Behind Your Touch, has taken on his first historical drama since his debut. Missing Crown Prince is a spin-off of Bossam: Steal the Fate, and tells the intriguing story of a crown prince who is kidnapped by the woman who has been chosen to be his concubine. Given the success of its original series, attention is focused on whether Suho’s transformation in the drama will lead to success on the small screen.

Midnight Photo Studio (3/11)

Genie TV’s Midnight Photo Studio is a fantasy drama set in a photo studio that only the dead can enter. The story follows the 7th photographer of a 100-year-old photo studio for the deceased and a livelihood lawyer who accidentally enters the studio. The two of them work together to unravel the secrets of the studio and the strange events that occur there. The drama stars Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and Eum Moon Suk.

Chicken Nugget (3/15)

Netflix unveiled its 2024 lineup on February 6th, and one quirky drama quickly stole the show: Chicken Nugget. This comedic chase follows two men on a hilarious mission to rescue Min Ah (Kim Yoo Jung) after she’s transformed into a chicken nugget by a mysterious machine. Fans are already buzzing about the comedic potential of the duo, Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong . Extreme Job director Lee Byung Hun is both directing and adapting the story for  the show. Will the chicken nugget-changed daughter return to herself?

Let’s Get Caught by the Neck (3/18)

Can Kim Ha Neul revive KBS’s struggling Monday-Tuesday drama slot? Let’s Get Caught by the Neck follows a fearless reporter and a top homicide detective as they team up to crack a series of serial murder cases. Kim Ha Neul and Yeon Woo Jin play the reporter and detective, respectively. Following the recent success of female-centric dramas like Marry My Husband with Park Min Young and Knight Flower with Lee Ha Nee, viewers are curious if this new drama can continue this trend.

Lee Bo Young returns to television in a chilling mystery drama. Coupang Play’s Hide follows a woman who tracks down her missing husband and faces a truth that shatters her world. She leads the cast as Moon Young, who uncovers the secrets buried beneath her husband’s disappearance. Joining her are Lee Moo Saeng and Lee Chung Ah, who recently delivered captivating performances in The Maestro and The Lovebirds, respectively. Beauty and the Devoted (3/23)

Ji Hyun Woo and Im Soo Hyang take on the lead roles in KBS’ weekend drama, Beauty and the Devoted. The drama tells the turbulent romance between a top star who falls to the bottom overnight and a rookie TV producer who tries to get her back on her feet. Attention is focused on whether Ji Hyun Woo, the lead actor of Young Lady and Gentleman, writer Kim Sa Kyung, and Im Soo Hyang, who is returning to weekend dramas after a long time, will be able to raise the declining viewership ratings of KBS’ weekend dramas.

Reborn of the Seven (3/29)

The highly anticipated return of The Escape of the Seven Season 2 promises a gripping tale of vendetta and survival. Now titled Reborn of the Seven: War For Survival, this thrilling revenge saga continues with a reset battlefield. Matthew Lee (Um Ki Joon) assembles a new “evil” coalition, while Min Do Hyuk (Lee Jun) claws his way back from the depths of hell, ready to wage a dangerous war against him.
