BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to spread her wings under the management of a family-run business, joining hands with her older brother.
According to a report by Xportsnews on the 2nd, Jisoo is gearing up for a new start with Biomom, an infant health supplement brand led by her brother.
Recently, Biomom has stirred interest by announcing new business expansion plans, spearheaded by Jisoo, through the hiring of employees for Blissoo, indicating a venture into entertainment. From video content specialists to artist security personnel, the recruitment drive signals a comprehensive approach to managing Jisoo’s diverse entertainment activities.
The job posting with Jisoo’s picture highlighted, “Experience the unique combination of an artist you can’t see anywhere and a startup. We’re rapidly expanding our entertainment business domestically and internationally, growing with the artist and winning the love of K-pop fans.”
Regarding the relationship with Blissoo, a Biomom representative cautiously told Xportsnews, “It’s hard to define our relationship with Blissoo,” adding, “We cannot know about the CEO’s family.”
There has been speculation in the industry about Jisoo transitioning to a solo career under her own management after leaving YG Entertainment. Given the close bond she shares with her brother, expectations are high for Jisoo to build a synergistic family management system and continue her diverse career path outside of YG.
