Director Kim Jee Woon expressed his gratitude, “I have always wanted to win the Director Award from the Korean Film Producers Association. Receiving this award at the Myung Films Art Center, where I produced my debut work, The Quiet Family, makes it even more special. I believe Cobweb is a film that provides comfort and strength to many creators, not just directors, and I am thankful for this recognition and vow to continue being a director who earns the respect of producers.”

Kang Ha Neul, who won the Best Actor for Love Reset, shared his thoughts with a touch of humor, “I won’t work just for awards in the future, but I promise to be a comfortable and cooperative actor who the people here can approach with scripts.” He added, “More than being a good actor, I aim to be a good person first,” receiving a warm response from the audience.

Kim Jong Soo, the Best Supporting Actor winner for Smugglers, shared his joy, “I only did theater and made my film debut at 43 with Secret Sunshine, and now I’ve won my first award for Smugglers. When I debuted, I vowed to become an actor who would be on the list when casting actors in their 50s. Receiving this award feels like I’ve made it onto that list. I promise to act even more diligently.”
