‘The Glory’ Becomes 3rd Most-Watched TV Series on Netflix in First Half of 2023

The Glory became the third most-watched series on Netflix in the first half of 2023, accumulating 600 million hours of viewing.

Since the show premiered on December 30th last year, the show’s initial viewing hours were fully reflected in this tally. The Night Agent Season 1 and Ginny & Georgia Season 2 claimed the first and second positions with 812.1 million hours and 665.1 million hours watched.

Among other Korean content, Physical:100: Season 1  (2.35 billion hours) and Crash Course in Romance (2.348 billion hours) secured the 15th and 16th spots, while Doctor Cha (1.947 billion hours) ranked 25th. 

Additionally, Alchemy of Souls: Part 1, Mr. Queen, Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow and The Good Bad Mother all made it into the top 50 with impressive viewing hours of 1.553 billion, 1.515 billion, 1.552 billion and 1.467 billion, respectively.

Bloodhounds Season 1 entered the rankings with 1.467 billion hours, securing the 51st position despite being released in early June.

As of the latest update, Extraordinary Attorney Woo has accumulated 1.359 billion hours, Business Proposal reached 1.207 billion hours, and Crash Landing on You garnered 1.203 billion hours. All these series have maintained strong positions within the top 100 despite being released more than six months ago.

Still reigning strong are Squid Game Season 1 at the 120th spot with 87.2 million hours viewed and All of Us Are Dead Season 1 at 103rd with 94.6 million hours viewed in the first half of this year.
