Disney Plus has released new pictures of Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Jun from The Worst of Evil.
The Worst of Evil is a crime action drama that revolves around police officer Joon Mo (Ji Chang Wook) who goes on an undercover mission to dismantle a major drug ring operating in Gangnam, a hub for drug trade between Korea, China, and Japan during the 1990s.
What viewers are looking forward to the most in the series is the dynamic between Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Jun, as well as its captivating storyline.
The two actors will showcase a fiery confrontation as they meet on the frontlines of an operation, one as an undercover agent and the other as the organization’s boss. Their dynamic evolving between trust and suspicion, beginning with Gi Chul (Wi Ha Jun) accepting Joon Mo as a member of the Gangnam syndicate is set to be a central highlight of The Worst of Evil.
Director Han Dong Wook explained, “The most important aspect was their relationship,” and added, “I wanted the audience to feel the characters’ emotions strongly, even in the midst of action scenes.” With the addition of Eui Jung (Lim Se Mi), an elite police officer and Joon Mo’s wife, who also happens to be Gi Chul’s first love, the series will create complex, intertwined relationships.”
The Worst of Evil will be released on September 27th.
