Netflix’s new series A Time Called You has revealed its main poster and trailer.

A Time Called You, a remake of the hit Taiwanese drama Someday or One Day, is a mystery romance. A year after parting with her deceased boyfriend, Jun Hee time-slips into 1998 and encounters Si Heon, who looks exactly like her late boyfriend, and his best friend In Gyu.

The unveiled main poster illustrates the changing emotions as the characters travel between 2023 and 1998. The tagline “The one past that can save you” teases a narrative that encompasses more than just romance, piquing interest in the story of the three individuals.

The accompanying main trailer heralds the beginning of this time-slip mystery romance. Amidst happy times and moments filled with excitement, Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been) spends her days in despair after Yeon Jun’s (Ahn Hyo Seop) accident. Then, one day, she wakes up in 1998 as Min Joo after playing a mysterious cassette tape that was delivered to her, only to find Si Heon, who looks identical to her late boyfriend.

The burgeoning youthful love triangle between Jun Hee, who encounters Si Heon; Si Heon, who feels drawn to the new Min Joo even though she’s his friend’s crush; and In Gyu (Kang Hoon) who has a crush on Min Joo, officially begins.

Director Kim Jin Won shared, “I really put in the effort to make sure the two different periods blend seamlessly and avoid any sudden shifts. This way, viewers can just go with the emotional flow of the characters without any bumps.” He also noted, “The cast nailed juggling diverse timeframes and emotions, completing one big picture seamlessly.”

Meanwhile, A Time Called You will be released exclusively on Netflix on September 8th.
