Jang Wonyoung from IVE will emcee the first concert on Friday night at this year’s KCON LA on August 18th. Rain will host the Saturday performances, while Bang Chan from Stray Kids will introduce a third and final night of performances.
After the daytime, the concerts will showcase a total of 20 Korean music acts over three nights.
The Friday concert will feature artists such as Cravity, IVE, NMIXX, Monsta X’s Shownu and Hyungwon, Taemin, Taeyong, and WayV. Saturday’s lineup will feature ATEEZ, INI, Kep1er, Rain, xikers, and ZEROBASEONE. Sunday will have performances from Everglow, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, JO1, Lapillus, Stray Kids, and The Boyz.
Each concert will include special stages, such as NCT U (Taeyong and Ten) and NMIXX on Friday, Kep1er, XG, and xikers on Saturday, and JO1 and The Boyz with a performance from their sub-unit) on Sunday.
KCON LA returned last year as an in-person event after a COVID-induced hiatus, drawing around 90,000 visitors and attracting approximately 7.1 million online participants. The K-pop convention is organized by CJ ENM, a multi-disciplinary Korean entertainment conglomerate, known for producing the Oscar-winning film Parasite and the upcoming movie K-Pop: Lost in America.
