Jeon Do Yeon, Lim Ji Yeon, and Ji Chang Wook are teaming up for the new movie Revolver, directed by Oh Seung Wook.
On the 5th, Plus M Entertainment stated, “The much-anticipated ensemble cast for Revolver, including Jeon Do Yeon, Ji Chang Wook, and Lim Ji Yeon, has been confirmed. And the filming started last month.”
Revolver depicts the relentless pursuit of a former policewoman Soo Young (Jeon Do Yeon), who was framed for all the guilt and put behind the bar, only to pursue a single goal after her release. It’s the latest work by Director Oh Seung Wook, who received critical acclaim with his latest movie, The Shameless. This film marks his second collaboration with Jeon Do Yeon after The Shameless, drawing heated attention.
Jeon Do Yeon plays Soo Young, a former cop who loses everything she was promised. Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of Andy, who heightens the tension in Soo Young’s quest for the truth. Shaking off his usual gentle and affectionate image, he will showcase an intense transformation. Lim Ji Yeon plays Jung Yoon Sun, who accompanies Soo Young for her own purpose. This is her third enticing on-screen chemistry with A-list actresses, following Song Hye Kyo and Kim Tae Hee.
Revolver table read reportedly buzzed with energy as actors fully immerse in their roles. The hot and cold narrative of Revolver will be produced by Sanai Pictures, the company behind The Shameless, New World, and The Hunt.
Meanwhile, the filming for Revolver began in June.
