Ahn Hyo Seop has swapped his doctor’s gown for a more relaxed look as he graces the cover Allure Korea.
Chosen as the cover model for the July issue, the actor had a delightful time in Hawaii that vibrantly captures the romance and joy of travel.
From Business Proposal and Dr. Romantic 3 to the upcoming Netflix show A Time Called You, Ahn has been busily filming one project after another. When asked about the meaning of travel, he commented, “I used to attach a great significance to the idea of leaving. But my thoughts have changed. I think that if you’re not happy where you are, you’ll feel the same no matter where you go. The feeling of having a clear mind is only momentary, so I strive to live a life where I am grateful for the small things.”
Reflecting on Dr. Romantic, Ahn displayed his strong faith in the series, attributing its success to the unity of the cast, saying, “The biggest thing was everyone’s shared spirit. And the writer’s thoughts on life that led that spirit to the right place.” Yet he added, “But, I do have these thoughts. If there is a next season, wouldn’t it be right for me to step back for the sake of the show? I’m a huge fan of Dr. Romantic, and as a viewer, I want to see the story of new characters unfold. But honestly, nothing is set in stone yet. The filming really ended on an intense note.”
Ahn is also eagerly anticipating his first solo fan meeting scheduled for July 16th in Seoul. He expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m really curious about my fans. I want to show those who come to see me solely out of their love for me who I really am.”
