Jeon So Nee demonstrated her tight bond with Song Hye Kyo during an interview with SPOTV News on March 9th, as she talked about her upcoming movie Soulmate.
The actress and Song Hye Kyo had previously worked together in tvN’s Encounter and have since remained close, frequently sending each other coffee trucks and spending time together.
Song Hye Kyo even recently showed her support by attending the VIP premiere of Soulmate and sharing photos of the event and the movie poster on her social media.
When asked about her conversation with Song Hye Kyo at the premiere, Jeon So Nee said, “She expressed that she understood the message of the film and its themes.”
She added, “I’m a bit embarrassed to say this, but she complimented my acting performance.”
Soulmate tells the story of two best friends, Mi So (played by Kim Da Mi) and Ha Eun (played by Jeon So Nee), who knew they would be inseparable from the moment they met. A boy named Jin Woo (played by Byeon Woo Seok) walks into their lives and the three share their happiness, sorrow, excitement, and longing with each other.
The new film will premiere on March 15th.
