SF9’s Rowoon is getting ready for his comeback.
On the 19th, Rowoon’s agency FNC Entertainment told Dispatch, “Rowoon was offered the lead role in the drama Sending Myself to You (literal title) and is currently reviewing it.”
Sending Myself to You is the new comedy romance historical series. The story follows a young widow and a young widower as they struggle to marry off the young maidens. If Rowoon joins the show, he’ll step into the role of Shin Jung Woo, a young man with an exceptionally handsome face and intelligence. However, there’s one thing he lacks – humbleness.
At the age of 17, Shin Jung Woo had to marry the princess when she got her eyes on him. But she collapses during their wedding, and at such a young age, he becomes a widower and the king’s son-in-law. He requests the king to nullify his marriage with the princess, to which the king gives him one mission – marry off the young maidens in the country. As a result, he jumps into the matchmaking business with a young widow.
Rowoon successfully challenged his first historical drama in the 2021 drama The King’s Affection, leading to much anticipation for his new project.
