Chae Jong Hyeop was offered to star opposite Park Eun Bin in the new drama Diva on a Deserted Island (literal title).
Diva on a Deserted Island is a new rom-com series about a girl who was stranded on an uninhabited island due to an unfortunate accident. The series follows her as she readjusts to the world she returns to 15 years later. The show comes from Writer Park Hye Ryun and Director Oh Choong Hwan, who teamed up for While You Were Sleeping and Start-Up.
Today, YNK Entertainment responded, “Diva on a Deserted Island is one of the projects Chae Jong Hyeop got an offer from.” If he does join the show, he’ll be stepping into the role of Bo Gyeol and work with Park Eun Bin, a strong candidate for the female lead.
Chae Jong Hyeop and Park Eun Bin previously worked together in the 2020 series Hot Stove League. At the time, Park Eun Bin took on the role of Lee Se Young, the manager of the baseball team Dreams, while Chae Jong Hyeop played pitcher Yoo Min Ho.
Meanwhile, Chae Jong Hyeop is currently starring in the ENA series Unlock My Boss.
