Chae Jong Hyeop will be starring opposite Kim So Hyun in Is It Fate? (literal title).
Based on the romance webtoon of the same name that started the heyday of webtoons in Korea, Is It Fate? tells the story of young people who find their true love and dreams when they reunite with their first love again after 10 years. Earlier, the drama confirmed the casting of Kim So Hyun as the female lead, Lee Hong Ju.
Joining the actress in the cast is Chae Jong Hyeop. He’ll step into the role of Kang Hu Young, a financial planner in the U.S. headquarters whose heart starts to flutter again for his first love whom he reunited after more than ten years. With his handsome looks and smart brain, getting the best results was so easy for him, but this made his life dull. However, when he reunites with his high school classmate Lee Hong Ju after returning to Korea, he regains his long-forgotten feelings.
Together with Kim So Hyun, Chase Jong Hyeop will unfold a dreamy romance that summons memories of first love, the most innocent and awkward stage of anyone’s life.
Meanwhile, Is It Fate? will premiere next year.
