Kim So Hyun is returning to the small screen with Is It Fate? (literal title).
According to Kim So Hyun’s agency, the actress was cast to play Lee Hong Joo, the female lead in the new drama Is It Fate?
Based on the romance webtoon of the same name that started the heyday of webtoon in Korea, Is It Fate? tells the story of the youths who strive forward to find their dream and love. The series is helmed by Director Song Hyun Wook, whose credits include Another Miss Oh, The Beauty Inside, and The King’s Affection.
Kim So Hyun steps into the role of Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love due to the scars of her past love.
Meanwhile, Is It Fate? will begin filming in the second half of this year.
