Kevin Oh showed love for his newlywed wife Gong Hyo Jin in the upcoming pictorial and interview with Cosmopolitan Korea.

Six years after his debut, Kevin Oh is preparing to drop his first-ever full album Pieces of _. But this isn’t the only great news in his life – he recently tied the knot with top actress Gong Hyo Jin.

In the interview, the singer showed his love for the song “Dawn when you and I are asleep” (literal title). One thing to note about this song is that Gong Hyo Jin wrote the lyrics, such as “Love is written on your twinkling cheeks on this black night when unnecessary worries bloom.” “The song started from what my fiance wrote for me one day,” Kevin Oh shared. “I liked the phrase so much, so I wanted to make it into a song. I didn’t change a single word and used exactly as she wrote. And it perfectly suited the melody I was writing. It was like it was a lyric made for this melody. It’s really wonderful to sing the heart of the person I love.”

The singer moved on to talk about why love is the best of all things. “All you need is love. Like The Beatles once sang, having love is enough,” he commented. “In life, work and fame, and many things are important, but the most important of them is love. Not only the love for lovers but also the love for friends and family. That’s why all my songs are very long love.”

Of course, he didn’t leave out his love for his wife. “I get inspired by my fiance a lot,” Kevin Oh said. “But I don’t want to define her as muse, which is so often used. But having someone to trust and love together is so reassuring.”
