Disney Plus recently dropped its teaser poster and trailer for May It Please the Court.
May It Please the Court is a legal drama about two public defenders who become entangled in a mysterious case. Jung Ryeo Won will play attorney No Chak Hee, who is willing to take any risk to win a case and has become an ace attorney at a large big law firm. She is set to receive a promotion to a partner position, but almost gets suspended for a year as a problem occurs in a case she accepted. Lee Kyu Hyung will star as Jwa Shi Baek, who graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute as a top student. He could have become a judge, prosecutor, or an attorney at a large law firm, but he chose to be a public defender. He enjoys his job and has a mysterious side to his personal life that no one knows about.
The trailer shares a glimpse of the two contrasting characters. With the caption that reads, “The peculiar one,” Lee Kyu Hyung appears with a serious look on his face, holding an empty ice-cream cone on his left hand.
The scene then switches to Jung Ryeo Won ripping papers in her hands, with the caption that reads, “The heartless one.” She then quickly smiles seeing a mysterious person entering her office. Viewers are left wondering about what character she will be portraying in the upcoming series.
May It Please the Court will premiere in September.
