Jung Woo Sung recently revealed his surprising friendship with BTS’ Jin in an interview for his upcoming movie, Hunt.
On August 2nd, Lee Byung Hyun, Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, Yoo Jae Suk, and some cast members of Squid Game were spotted at the VIP premiere for Hunt.
Jung Woo Sung, one of the lead actors in the film, stated, “VIP premieres were held on a much smaller scale in the past. However, as the event grew, it became difficult to recognize who actually came. Sometimes I wondered if guests really enjoy being their pictures taken in front of the photo wall.” He added, “This time, I wanted to try something new, and I am grateful that many liked it.”
When asked about the most memorable comment he received, the actor responded, “Many said it was inspiring. I guess they enjoyed the movie. Hopefully, our hard work has paid off.”
Meanwhile, BTS’ Jin was also spotted at the event. Reports say that Jin appeared at the event as he is close friends with the actor. Jung Woo Sung remarked, “I recently got to know Jin by chance. We call each other by chairman Jin and Jung. I asked him to come if he had time, and he said, “no problem.” I’m happy that he enjoyed the film.”
He added, “He is just very adorable. He is fun to be around, like my close friend Ju Ji Hoon. They should really meet up one day.”
