Park Chorong and Yoon Bomi are returning to the K-pop scene as Apink’s first unit group.

On Monday, ISP Entertainment announced, “Apink’s unit group ‘Chobom’ with members Park Chorong and Yoon Bomi will drop their first album in July.” The label added, “As this is Apink’s first unit album release, we are working hard to greet fans with new charms and high-quality music.”

Chobom is the first unit group Apink is launching after 11 years of debut. And as you can already tell, the name is the combination of the two girls’ names. ISP explained, “It’s not just a one-time unit group for an album and performance. It’s the first sub-unit group of Apink to release an album.”

Meanwhile, Chobom has joined the performer lineup of Gayo Daejeon, scheduled for July.
