SBS’ new Monday-Tuesday drama Woori the Virgin unveiled three official posters ahead of its release.
Woori the Virgin is a Korean remake of the American rom-com Jane the Virgin, which aired for five seasons on CWTV in the United States. The drama will revolve around a woman named Oh Woo Ri (played by Im Soo Hyang) who wants to keep her virginity until she gets married but later gets pregnant with the child of a large cosmetic firm’s CEO, Raphael (Sung Hoon).
Im Soo Hyang will play Oh Woo Ri, who works as an assistant writer for a popular drama series. Sung Hoon takes the role of Raphael, the CEO of a cosmetic firm who turns out to be the biological father of Oh Woo Ri’s kid. Shin Dong Wook will star as a homicide detective named Lee Kang Jae who happens to be Oh Woo Ri’s fiancé. He stays by Woori’s side with great love and support despite knowing that she has a firm belief in keeping her virginity until their marriage.
The first teaser poster shows Im Soo Hyang in a wedding gown enjoying her freedom to the fullest while running somewhere with a group of marathon runners behind, unleashing curiosity about what has happened to her.
The second poster captures Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon sharing a sweet moment together while gazing affectionately at each other with smiles on their faces, hinting at their blossoming love story.
The third poster features Im Soo Hyang and Shin Dong Wook smiling as they extend their arms in the air, which gives off a different vibe from the previous one.
Woori the Virgin �will premiere on May 9th.
