Seolhyun opened up about having gone through a rough patch while working as a singer and actor.
In the latest episode of tvN’s Unexpected Business 2, Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun were seen running around the market with the new part-timers: Seolhyun, Yoon Kyung Ho and Park Hyo Joon. After wrapping up the business, the cast sat around the table to chat about their acting careers.
First, Jo In Sung praised Seolhyun for successfully showcasing a new side of her through Unexpected Business. She jokingly replied, “Thank god. I have never been told that I’m quick-witted with anything.”
Yoon Kyung Ho, who worked with Seolhyun in the movie The Great Battle, added, “I’ve never seen Seolhyun laugh this hard at the filming sites.” Jo In Sung agreed with him, saying, “She looks happy now. When she was filming The Great Battle, she was still very young with not much acting experience.”
Seolhyun shared, “When I was a singer, I was overwhelmed and intimidated by everyone around me. It felt like I had become someone who belongs nowhere. But after deciding that I’m going to be an actress, I’ve gotten much more relaxed.”
Hearing that, Cha Tae Hyun advised her, “You’re becoming an actress if you no longer feel awkward about yourself. And what’s more important is to stay strong and positive.”
