Squid Game star Jung Ho Yeon was cast in Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple thriller series Disclaimer.
On the 17th, Variety reported that Squid Game star Jung Hoyeon has been cast in the upcoming Apple series Disclaimer. Based on the novel of the same name by Renee Knight, Disclaimer is directed by Gravity and Roma director Alfonso Cuarón. Jung Ho Yeon will be starring alongside Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
According to Variety, Jung Ho Yeon will take on the role of Kim. Described as ambitious, hardworking, and eager-to-please, Kim knows that working for Catherine Ravenscroft is going to be her big break. And Catherine Ravenscroft, a successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the concealed transgressions of long-respected institutions, will be portrayed by Blanchett.
Meanwhile, Jung Ho Yeon made her acting debut in the hit Netflix series Squid Game. Her work earned her the SAG Award for best performance by a female actor in a drama series. She is now repped by CAA and Saram Entertainment.
