Mnet has released the official posters for the upcoming talent show, Queendom season 2.
The teaser poster features Taeyeon and Lee Yong Jin against the backdrop of chess boards and pieces. Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation is seen standing in front of six chess queens, exuding a unique charisma as the grandmaster of Queendom 2. Alongside the idol singer, Lee Yong Jin hints at his role as the queens’ manager who will be assisting the program and cast by closely communicating with the six girl groups.
The network unveiled all six contestants’ individual posters ahead of its release, featuring Brave Girls, Hyolyn, Kep1er, LOONA, VIVIZ and WJSN. Currently, the new talent show is drawing attention among fans around the world for its newly released promo materials that give a sneak peek into the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Mnet’s Queendom 2 will showcase the brilliant stages of the six high-profile female acts as they compete with each other by releasing new songs every week. The network first came up with the program in 2019 and aired its spin-offs – Road to Kingdom and Kingdom: Legendary War – in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
