Youn Yuh Jung will be attending the Academy Awards again this year as a presenter.
On March 3rd (U.S. Time), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the official lineup of presenters for the 94th Academy Awards through its official social media account. The list included Youn Yuh Jung and other global top celebrities including Kevin Costner, Zoë Kravitz, Lady Gaga, and Chris Rock.
Back in April 2021 at the 93rd Academy Awards, Youn Yuh Jung took home the Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in Minari. She became the first Korean to win an acting award in the Academy, and the first Asian in 64 years to win the award.
According to the tradition where the previous year’s winner presents the same category award to the opposite gender, Youn Yuh Jung will present the Best Supporting Actor Award this year.
The 94th Academy Awards will be live-streamed on ABC on March 27th (U.S. Time).
