Hwang Dong Hyuk‘s Squid Game has broken yet another record. The show became the big winner of the SAG Awards, sweeping three awards, including two acting prizes for the two main cast.

On the 27th (local time), the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards held its ceremony in Santa Monica.

Squid Game, which sparked a global sensation last year, had previously won four nominations, including outstanding ensemble, actor in a drama series (Lee Jung Jae), actress in a drama series (Jung Ho Yeon), and stunt ensemble. And tonight, they took home a total of three trophies.

First, Lee Jung Jae became the winner of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. The award marks Lee’s first-ever SAG Award nomination and win.

“Oh my, thank you so much! This is truly huge that it’s happened to me,” Lee said while accepting his award on stage. “I did write something, but I don’t think I’ll get to reading it. Thank you so much SAG-AFTRA awards, and thank you to the global audience for all of your love for Squid Game,” he went on. “And thank you, Squid Game team.”

He beat out Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong (Succession), and Billy Crudup (The Morning Show) for the award.

Squid Game Jung Ho Yeon won the actress award of the category. “First and foremost, thank you so much. I have sat many-a-times watching you on the big screen, dreaming of one day becoming an actor. I just want to say thank you so much,” she expressed her joy in tears. “Thank you [for making my] dream and opening the door for me. I love my Squid Game crew!”

She delivered her acceptance speech in custom Louis Vuitton, which took about 210 hours to make. Jung Ho Yeon beat out fellow nominees Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon (The Morning Show), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Sarah Snook (Succession) for the award.

In addition to these two awards, Squid Game also scored a trophy for Outstanding Action Performance as a Stunt Ensemble.
