Our Blues will premiere on April 9th.
On the 25th, tvN announced its new weekend drama‘s premiere date with its first special teaser trailer.
The released video shows various characters living their own lives on beautiful Jeju Island. Notably, the famous celebrity couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin draws attention as they perfectly pull off their character in the released clip. However, reports say that the two will most likely not cross paths with each other in the show.
The teaser shared a sneak peek at Lee Byung Hun‘s transformation into a country store clerk who uses a thick dialect native to the island. It also featured Shin Min Ah and Cha Seung Won as a mysterious woman named Min Sun Ah, who had just moved to the island, and a chic city man named Choi Han Soo, who has returned to his hometown.
Han Ji Min will also appear on the show as a rookie haenyeo (a female diver) named Lee Young Ok, who will bicker with her ship’s captain named Park Jung Joon, played by Kim Woo Bin. Lastly, Um Jung Hwa will star as a woman named Ko Mi Ran who decides to return to the island after having enough of her city life.
Our Blues is a collaborative project between writer Noh Hee Kyung and Kim Kyu Tae, who have previously produced wonderful dramas like That Winter, the Wind Blows and It’s Okay, That’s Love.
