Son Ye Jin shared the struggles she faced during her two-decades-long acting career on tvN’s Yoo Quiz On The Block.
The actress said, “I would wake up early in the morning every day and walk around the park listening to music a few days before filming an emotional scene. I keep wondering to myself, ‘Will I be able to pull this off?’ and ‘What if my emotions aren’t up to the mark during the filming? She also revealed that there were countless times when she just wanted to run away from the world. She added, “The downside to this job is that no one can help you when the camera is rolling. It gets very lonely once you stand in front of it. I get these ambiguous feelings of wanting to run away and wanting to accomplish the work greatly.”
Son Ye Jin revealed that she had dreamed of becoming an actress ever since she was a middle school kid. She said, “Luckily, I was able to debut in the film industry with a leading role at a young age, and in a blink of an eye, twenty years have passed.”
She also talked about how the burden increased with time, and how difficult it was for her to meet the expectations that has been placed on her. “There is a limit to how much I can grow,” said the actress. At this, Yoo Jae Seok agreed that it is hard to enjoy things you like once it becomes a job.
When asked about her first love, Son Ye Jin replied that her groom-to-be Hyun Bin is her first love.
