EXO’s Sehun will make his big-screen debut as a skilled marksman in the upcoming movie The Pirates: Goblin Flag.
The Pirates: Goblin Flag follows the journey of pirates in finding the lost treasure of a royal family, which disappeared without a trace. The released posters capture the attention with characters full of personality.
Sehun, who is now showing solid performance in Now, We Are Breaking Up, is getting ready for his big-screen debut with the movie. Hangoong, played by Sehun, is a trusted crew member of Haerang’s (Han Hyo Joo) ship. He appears out of nowhere at every decisive moment to protect his crew and their journey to find the lost treasure.
In particular, the idol had flawlessly pulled off intense action scenes from archery to swordsmanship. Moreover, he’ll exude his presence as a charismatic yet calm and dependable character.
Director Kim Jung Hoon shared, “Hangoong is a reticent person who protects Haerang with excellent martial arts skills. And his images perfectly suit that of Sehun.”
Meanwhile, The Pirates: Goblin Flag is the second series of The Pirates that attracted 8.66 million moviegoers. The movie is slated to be released during the Lunar New Year holiday.
