Disney Plus Korea unveiled the first poster and trailer for its new original series Rookies.
Rookies, set in the police university, is the new youth romance drama about the love and challenges of youth we want to support. They may be clumsy and full of mistakes, but the youth in their 20s shine brighter than anyone else.
The Bride of Habaek and Nine: Nine Times Time Travel director Kim Byung Soo helms the production. Joining him in the crew is screenwriter Lee Ha Na. On top of everything, the show boasts a star-studded cast, including Kang Daniel, Chae Soo Bin, Lee Shin Young, Park Yoo Na, Kim Sang Ho, and more.
Kang Daniel will make his acting debut in the project as Wi Seung Hyun, a man who has intelligence and a sense of justice. Chae Soo Bin challenges a new concept as the problematic freshman Go Eun Kang. Here, Lee Shin Young and Park Yoo Na complete the youthful story as Kim Tak, former judo athlete, and Ki Han Na.
The first poster radiates youthful energy by capturing the eight different freshmen in the police university. Additionally, the trailer also shows the students adapting to the new environment, drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Rookies will be released on Disney Plus in the first half of 2022.
