The Red Sleeve

Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of December

MBC’s The Red Sleeve continued its uptrend, ranking first for four consecutive weeks. Though the overall story, the production, and the actors’ passionate performance drew favorable reviews, disappointments poured over the scene that shows court ladies forming a secret society. tvN’s Happiness showed an uptrend for the third week in a row and landed at No. 2. The development and direction that heightened the immersion were well received. KBS’s The King’s Affection ranked third. Park Eun Bin’s acting garnered rave reviews, but many wished for more accurate historical references. SBS’s Now, We Are Breaking Up, which has been showing a steady decline, received constant disappointing responses over the cliche-filled storyline and directing. Additionally, many agreed that Song Hye Kyo’s character is somewhat boring. JTBC’s Reflection of You completed its journey in sixth place. Most of the viewers said that the drama left a deep afterglow, but there were mixed reviews over the ending.
