In response to the report, his agency commented, “Nothing has been decided yet, and we’re still discussing things.”
Gong Hyo Jin Confirmed to Lead a New Big Budget Sci-fi Series
Gong Hyo Jin is making her long-awaited drama comeback with a 33 million dollar budget series production.
According to multiple industry insiders, the Master’s Sun star has decided to join the cast of writer Seo Sook Hyang’s new series, Ask the Stars (literal title).
The female star has already worked on two projects with the screenwriter: MBC’s drama Pasta and SBS’ series production Jealousy Incarnate. Both of the dramas were immensely popular and had a huge ratings success. Should this project go forward, it would be the third project that the actress and the writer have worked on together.
Produced by Keyeast, the production will be the first Korean space-based TV series that took Seo three years to write. The new drama will take place in outer space and tell a romantic story between a space tourist and an astronaut with a whopping 33 million dollar budget.
Meanwhile, Gong Hyo Jin is currently starring in a variety program, Harmlessly Starting Today (literal title).
