Bang Si Hyuk was named the highest-earner by Mnet’s ‘TMI News’.

The first name on the list was HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, who owns about 3.9 trillion KRW (about $3.3 billion) worth of stocks. The figure is times higher than the combined value of the stocks of Lee Soo Man (SM), JYP (JYP), and Yang Hyuk Suk (YG). Bang was also ranked ninth in the stock market rankings, standing shoulder to shoulder with business figures like Samsung’s Lee Jae Yong, Kakao’s Kim Beom Su, and Hyundai’s Chung Mong Koo.
Second on the list is SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo Man with 268 billion KRW (about $226 million). JYP Entertainment’s representative producer JYP came in third with 216.9 billion KRW (about $183 million).
Fourth place went to global girl group BLACKPINK. The act profited about 20.8 billion KRW (about $17.5 million) with their online concerts and movie.
Moreover, Song Joong Ki, who bagged 200 million KRW (about $169,000) per episode of Vincenzo, ranked 7th. In addition, the actor has raked about 3 billion KRW (about $2.53 million), working as the face of six brands in the first half of 2021.
Eighth place went to all-rounder IU. With her music, commercials, and acting activities, she bagged about 6.5 billion KRW (about $5.48 million).
The last name on the list was ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. Cha’s earnings in the first quarter were about 1.5 billion KRW (about $1.26 million). Assuming that he has garnered the same sales in the second quarter, Cha earned about 3 billion KRW (about $2.53 million) in the first half of 2021.
