Kang Tae Oh will return to the big screen.
According to The Daily Sports, Kang Tae Oh recently joined Park Hee Gon’s new film Open the Door. He is currently getting ready for the first shoot.
Open the Door illustrates the struggles of a woman who became a target of a crime after getting scammed in secondhand online purchase. It’s a sequel to the thriller movie Door Lock, starring Gong Hyo Jin, released in December 2018. Earlier, Shin Hye Sun had officially joined the project as the leading actor.
Kang will be playing detective Na, who works in the special victims unit for women (played by Shin Hye Sun). The actor has already worked with director Park three years ago with the film Fengshui in 2018. At the time, Kang made a successful big-screen debut by playing a minor yet crucial role.
Recently, Kang grew to be more than just a rising star, showing impressive performance in works like Run On and Doom at Your Service. Therefore, attention focuses on what he will show on the big screen, and in no less with the thriller genre.
After finalizing its full cast, Open the Door will begin filming soon.
