Kim Young Kwang and Lee Ju Myung have been confirmed to star in ENA’s upcoming romantic comedy Queen of Taming (literal title).
The series is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2027 as a Monday-Tuesday drama on ENA and will also be available on KT Genie TV.
Queen of Taming follows Ma Ji Yong, a powerful hedge fund manager at the top of the financial world, and Jo Woo Ri, a contract veterinarian working at a zoo he acquires. The two become entangled in an unexpected employer-employee relationship that gradually turns romantic.
Kim will play Ma Ji Yong, a sharp-edged hedge fund manager with an instinctive talent for money and investments. Having survived a ruthless chaebol family, he is used to getting whatever he wants, but when it comes to love, he is a complete novice.
Lee stars as Jo Woo Ri, a strong-willed veterinarian known as the “queen of taming” for her ability to handle animals with ease. Fearless even around wild beasts and unwilling to back down in the face of injustice, her life is thrown off course when she meets Ji Yong.
The drama will mark the first on-screen pairing of Kim and Lee, with the story centering on their power-dynamic romance and the way the two gradually fill the emotional gaps in each other’s lives.
Queen of Taming is directed by Song Hyun Wook and written by Lee Min Young. It is produced by Samhwa Networks and Studio Bom and planned by KT Studio Genie.
