Han Ga In has shared purchase records from two years ago to address allegations that she failed to disclose a sponsorship while promoting a health supplement on her YouTube channel.
The actress posted the records on her personal YouTube channel on September 29th. She explained that it took some time to obtain and verify the official payment records from Naver Pay.
“I’m releasing my purchase records from that time to provide further clarification,” she said.
According to the records, Han Ga In personally purchased three boxes, or 90 bottles, of an albumin supplement for 616,000 won ($440) on July 23th, 2024. This was several months before she began recommending the product on her YouTube channel.
“I purchased it myself for personal health management before starting my YouTube channel,” she explained.
Han Ga In said she first recommended the supplement in a video on November 13th, 2024. She also purchased the product again on March 24th, 2025.

“As shown in the payment records, I paid for this product myself. There was no compensation or sponsorship, even before I started my channel,” she said.
The controversy began when YouTuber Samang Fox, known for covering alleged controversies, raised questions about what they described as exaggerated advertising for the supplement Han Ga In had been taking. The issue grew after it was pointed out that Han Ga In had featured the product on her channel, leading to accusations of undisclosed advertising.
Han Ga In previously denied receiving any compensation or sponsorship for the video, describing it as “my own money, my own purchase” content. She also said there was no misleading information about the video’s advertising status.
Han Ga In acknowledged that she should have been more careful about recommending a health-related product based only on her personal experience.

“I started taking this product regularly after giving birth, when I was feeling low on energy. I felt that it helped me, so I recommended it to my viewers,” she said. “This incident made me realize how careful I need to be when sharing information based on personal experiences without proper verification.”
She apologized for causing confusion and concern among viewers. Following Han Ga In’s clarification, Samang Fox also apologized. The YouTuber said they were sorry to anyone who felt uncomfortable because of the video and specifically apologized to Han Ga In for any unnecessary harm or hurt caused.
