A realistic omnibus horror movie is coming. The bizarre and eerie apartment ghost story Grotesque Mansion (literal title) confirmed its release in June.
Grotesque Mansion is an omnibus work featuring bizarre and eerie horror that takes place when webtoon artist Ji Woo covers the abandoned mansion for a story.
Consisting of 5 separate episodes, the film lets out overwhelming fear using everyday materials, such as noise complaints, mold, and elevator. It’s a new project by GANG and SLATE director Bareun Jo.
Gu Family Book actor Sung Joon plays webtoon artist Ji Woo, who visits the Gwangrim Mansion in search of new ideas. Chief of Staff actor Kim Hong Pa stars as Gwangrim Mansion’s custodian, while SKY Castle actress Kim Bora turns into Da Hye, who keeps her eyes on Ji Woo. Besides them, Kim Jae Hwa, Park So Jin, Seo Hyun Woo, and more joined the cast lineup to enliven the terror.
Grotesque Mansion is a theatrical version of the horror drama of the same name produced under KT’s “2021 Summer Drama Collage” project. A total of eight episodes were edited into five, and the film will be released on Seezn and skylife from July 30th.
