YTN Star reported on April 14th that Hong Kyung will appear in the upcoming series Outback (literal title).

Ryu Jun Yeol was confirmed to join the cast, and the two actors will be working together for the first time in this project.

Outback is the latest work from Shortcake, the production company behind the popular series Weak Hero. As Hong Kyung gained attention as a lead in Weak Hero Season 1, anticipation is high for his reunion with the studio.

Last year, Hong Kyung stayed active by appearing in the Netflix series Good News and the film Concrete Market. His performance in Good News earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
