So Ji Sub Is Considering His Return to the Small Screen as a Surgeon in the New Series ‘Dr. Lawyer’

So Ji Sub is in talks to star in the new TV series after four years.

According to Ilgan Sports, So Ji Sub recently confirmed his comeback with the new TV series Dr. Lawyer. To which, 51K told Dispatch, “So Ji Sub was offered to take the lead in Dr. Lawyer, but it’s just one of the many offers he received.”

Dr. Lawyer tells the story of a genius surgeon who because a medical litigation lawyer after being robbed of everything because of a fabricated surgery. Opposite to him is a prosecutor specializing in medical crimes who lost his family and lover through the surgery.

If he joins the project for sure, So Ji Sub will be playing Han Yi Han. He used to be a double-board certified surgeon before he became a medical litigation lawyer. This handsome, tall, and excellent surgeon was certified in both general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Despite the hectic schedule, he never lost his smiles and showed off his humane charm. But this all stopped when an evil plot ended his career four years ago.

The latest project the actor starred in was the 2018 series Terius Behind Me. Since then, he tied the knot and starred in two films, Confession and Alien + People.

Meanwhile, Dr. Lawyer is penned by Class of Lies writer Jang Hong Chul and will premiere early next year.
