Miyawaki Sakura returned to Japan the day after IZ*ONE officially disbanded. And the recently leaked Japanese magazine cover heralded her graduation from her original group, HKT84.

Recently, the cover of the July issues of the Japanese magazine VIVI was leaked on online communities. This cover includes the picture of Sakura with the words “Miyawaki Sakura, who returned to HKT after her IZ*ONE career ended, announces her graduation.”

This magazine will go on sale on the 21st. So far, Sakura hasn’t made any announcements regarding her HKT49 activities. On top of that, “’HKT48′, ‘AKB48’, ‘IZ*ONE,’ and the world” is used to describe the artist, raising expectations for her global promotions.

Because of this, fans are expecting Sakura’s return to Korea. Earlier in March, media outlets reported the possibilities of Sakura settling in HYBE as her new label. However, at the time, HYBE officials denied the rumors, saying that nothing is set in stone.

However, Source Music, a label under HYBE, is currently planning a multinational girl group. Moreover, HYBE LABELS JAPAN started recruiting new trainees last year, so the possibility of her becoming the new HYBE family still remains.

Meanwhile, Sakura ended Mnet’s Produce 48 in second place in 2018. Since then, she started promoting worldwide as a member of IZ*ONE. On April 29th, when IZ*ONE disbanded, Sakura left for Japan with Nako and Hitomi. She will officially be re-joining HKT48 on May 29th, the day of their concert.
