Based on a novel of the same name, Color Rush is about a protagonist who is color blind and sees the world only in shades of gray. However, he experiences a ‘color rush,’ an intense blast of color when he meets his soulmate.
“In the director’s cut, we focused on Yoo Han and Yeon Woo’s respective color rushes, especially on Yeon Woo’s shade of the ocean. To sum up, we considered as many ideas of the fans as we can,” said director Park Sun Jae ahead of the release. He added, “we further prepared the walking scene of the four friends in the corridors and schoolyard and a shirt clip as a surprise gift for fans who are watching the movie version of the show.”
The director’s cut of Color Rush will be released overseas on VIKI, Abema TV, and LINE TV, from April 15th.
