Im So Jung may be turning into a math teacher this time.
According to media outlets, Im Soo Jung is reviewing the offer she received from the new drama Melancholia (literal title).
Melancholia centers around a seamy sex scandal between a student and a teacher. The drama will follow the events in a prestigious private high school in Gangnam after the scandal causes havoc.
If she joins the project, Im So Jung will take the role of a math teacher. Behind her enchanting smile and kind expressions, she has unwavering tenacity and stubbornness. One day, her student, who was 18 years old four years ago, shows up in her life as a 22-year-old man. But as soon as he appears, her life gets involved in a whirlwind of events.
Im So Jung’s last drama was Search: WWW, which aired in 2019.
Melancholia is penned by screenwriter Kim Ji Woon and produced by Bon Factory.
