aespa has been chosen as the “Talented Emerging Artists” by People Magazine.
Recently, People announced the musicians they will keep their eyes on in 2021. Under the title “Meet the Talented Emerging Artists Making Their Mark on the Musical Landscape in 2021,” they introduced 30 talented rookie artists. And surprisingly enough, asepa was posted on the first page of the article.
People first introduced aespa as “a K-Pop girl group that is rising to the top fast.” They continued, “Already surpassing 100 million views on their debut video, ‘Black Mamba,’ which is the fastest debut K-Pop video in Youtube history.”
aespa’s shining achievements were also noted. “The rising K-Pop stars graced the cover of in February and also are leaving their mark on the fashion world as they are new ambassadors for Givenchy.”
Meanwhile, aespa has proved their power as a “global super rookie” by making unusual achievements as a rookie. “Black Mamba” MV became the fastest K-pop debut MV to reach 100 million views, and the song entered 95 music charts around the world.
