Jung Soo Jung (aka Krystal Jung) is coming back with a new drama after moving her agency.
A related individual in the department of drama told Daily Sports on the 9th that Jung Soo Jung has decided to appear in KBS 2TV’s new drama series Police Academy. (Written by Moon Min Jung, directed by Yoo Gwan Mo)
The actress will play Oh Kang Hee, a freshman at the National Police University of Korea. When her friends were playing with dolls and watching Disney princesses, she grew up with the dream of being a policeman after watching Korea’s popular TV program Police. The police who beat the bad guys were her princes and Superman. She learned judo when her friends took ballet classes, and her wish for a Christmas gift by the age of 12 were handcuffs. She is a tenacious figure who is righteous to her core.
Police Academy is about a 19-year-old boy who finds his dreams, love, and himself through professors and friends he encounters at the police university. It depicts the elite circle amongst Korean polices – the Police University. Whilst this is a place that had never appeared in a drama, it is somewhere everyone was curious about. In addition to Jung Soo Jung, B1A4’s Jin Young, Cha Tae Hyun, and Lee Jong Hyuk have decided to feature in the series.
