Wild Sing is already building serious buzz—and now it has a song to match.
The upcoming film has officially released “Love Is,” the signature track of its fictional group Triangle, along with a music video that leans fully into retro nostalgia.
Set to hit theaters on June 3rd, Wild Sing follows a once-popular co-ed trio that disbanded overnight after an unexpected scandal. Twenty years later, the group gets a second shot at success—and takes on a bold, high-stakes comeback.
“Love Is,” introduced as Triangle’s debut and defining hit in the film, reimagines the bright, upbeat energy of late-’90s and early-2000s dance pop with a modern edge. The song was produced by Shim Eun Ji, known for hits like TWICE’s “KNOCK KNOCK,” as well as work with SHINee, IU and ITZY.
The music video further amplifies that throwback vibe. Shot in a 4:3 aspect ratio, it recreates the look of early-era music videos with analog-style filters, sharp eye-lighting effects, and restrained camera movement.
Visually, the trio stands out against a clean white backdrop, each member defined by bold color cues: red for Hyun Woo (played by Gang Dong Won), green for Do Mi (Park Ji Hyun), and blue for Sang Gu (Um Tae Goo). The simple but striking color play highlights each character’s personality while enhancing the group’s overall chemistry.
The performance element ties it all together. A tightly constructed intro leads into an easy-to-follow choreography crafted by choreographer Yang Wook, designed to match the song’s addictive hook. Each member brings a distinct presence—from Hyun Woo’s high-energy dance breaks to Sang Gu’s punchy rap and Do Mi’s undeniable center-stage charm.
With its instantly memorable chorus and nostalgic appeal, “Love Is” is shaping up to be a standout moment—and possibly one of the summer’s most talked-about tracks—before Wild Sing even hits theaters.
