Berry Good’s Johyun will turn into a “horror queen” in her new thriller film Hypnosis (literal title).
Johyun has been cast in director Choi Jae Hoon’s new film Hypnosis, a mystery thriller that lays out a series of nightmares and creepy incidents that happen to Do Hyun and his friends after they underwent hypnosis by Dr. Choi.
After marking the start of her acting career with the Dragon Inn series and web-drama School Strange Stories: A Child Who Would Not Come, Johyun will expand her territory as an actor by attempting an unconventional horror acting.
She will be playing Hyun Jung, a K-pop idol and a college student. She is always under the spotlight as a popular idol, but she is bullied in school because of her friends’ jealousy. To break away from the constant stress, she attempts hypnosis, and that choice begins to destroy her life.
Besides Johyun, Lee David, Son Byung Ho, Kim Do Hoon, Kim Nam Woo, and Seo Yi Seo have been included in the cast lineup.
Meanwhile, Hypnosis will be released in April.
