The Penthouse 2: War in Life has made a fierce start with its rated-19 first episode.
According to a report by SpoTV News on the 17th, the first episode of SBS’ new Fri-Sat series The Penthouse 2 (written by Kim Soon Ok, directed by Joo Dong Min) was organized as an episode where only viewers aged 19 or older can watch.
The show has been rated 19 due to its unconventional and shocking plot development right from its start. As the first season ended with the death of Shim Soo Ryeon (played by Lee Ji Ah), the crimes of her killer Joo Dan Tae (Um Ki Jun) and the twist of Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon), the second season is also said to have started with shocking twists and turns.
The Penthouse 2 will be announcing its start with a press conference. The conference is to be held on the 19th at 2 p.m. KST with actors including Eugene, Kim So Yeon, Um Ki Jun, Bong Tae Kyu, Yoon Jong Hoon, Park Eun Seok, Yoo Joo Hee and Ha Do Kwon. This is the same date the first episode will be aired. The director Joo Dong Min will not be able to attend due to his hectic production schedule.
Lee Ji Ah, the actress of Shim Soo Ryeon, who is of the highest interest for season 2 will also not be able to attend.
The Penthouse 2: War in Life will premiere at 10 p.m. KST on the 19th.
