Actress Hyeri is in talks to appear in a new series titled Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Withers (literal title).
Her agency, Creative Group ING, revealed to SpoTV News on the 16th that “Hyeri has been offered a role in KBS2’s upcoming drama Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Withers (literal title) and is reviewing details.”
Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Withers illustrates the stories of human love against the backdrop of when the alcohol ban was the most strict in the Joseon era’s history.
Hyeri has been offered to play Kang Ro Seo, the female lead of the upcoming series. The drama received a lot of attention as Yoo Seung Ho was said to be considering his appearance.
Expectations are high on whether the two’s collaboration within the show will take place. Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Withers will be directed by Hwang In Hyuk, the director of Doctor Prisoner. It is scheduled to air later in the second half of this year.
