Byeon Woo Seok Is in Talks to Star in New Romance Historical Series with Hyeri and Yoo Seung Ho

The upcoming historical romance series When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon (literal title) offered Record of Youth actor Byeon Woo Seok the lead role.

According to media outlets, Byeon is currently reviewing the role in KBS’s new series When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon.

This new project depicts humans’ love and lust against the backdrop of the great prohibition era (no drinking of any form of alcohol) in Joseon history. As of now, Yoo Seung Ho, Hyeri, and Gugudan’s Kang Mina are also reviewing the possibility of starring in the work.

Meanwhile, Byeon debuted in 2016 with the TV series Dear My Friends. Since then, he appeared in Modulove and Search: WWW. Most recently, he rose to stardom through tvN series Record of Youth. Moreover, the actor showed solid performance in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, raising expectations for his appearance in this new romance historical show.

When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon will premiere in the latter half of this year.
