Kim Hwan Hee in Talks for New MBC Drama Starring Ryu Soo Young

While Ryu Soo Young has confirmed his appearance in MBC’s new drama A Goal Has Come (literal title), child actor Kim Hwan Hee has been offered a female lead.

A Goal Has Come tells the story of a girl who believes she has lived an unfortunate life her whole life dreams of revenge against those who made her life miserable. Many officials have been paying keen attention to this project as it was selected as the winner of the MBC Drama Screenplay Contest 2020 with the highest praises from judges.

Ryu Soo Young plays Lee Jae Young, who runs a local fried chicken restaurant. He is kind-hearted and caring for his neighbors in need. Ryu showed his expectations, saying, “I’ve been given a chance to greet the viewers with a good project. I’m thrilled to be working with such amazing seniors and juniors. Please show your support and expectations.”

Kim Hwan Hee has been offered the role of Lee Soo Hyun, a girl who makes money by pickpocketing after dropping out of high school.

A Goal Has Come is screenwriter Ryu Sool Ah’s debut project, and the production will be helmed by Rich Family’s Son and Welcome 2 Life director Shim So Yeon. The drama will premiere sometime in May.
